Abstract

Abstract

This article focuses on the issue of the dynamics of interfaith (Islam-Christian) life in the Kaduaja community. As previously known, the relationship between Islam and Christianity, which exists in a harmonious, peaceful, and conflict-free atmosphere, is a characteristic or identity of the Kaduaja society to this day. Therefore, it is not surprising that Lembang Kaduaja is referred to as a location of religious moderation. However, by looking deeper into the situation of the Kaduaja community, it appears that a life considered safe and secure also implies complex issues related to the Islam-Christian relationship. For this reason, the aim of this research is to investigate the factors that trigger these issues and to identify the efforts of the church or Christians in responding to these matters in daily life. Using qualitative research methods with a literature study approach to find theoretical data to connect and analyze data from community service activities through discussions/dialogues. Through this, it was found that the Kaduaja community is sensitive and aware of the challenges they are currently facing through the interpretation of experiences and observations of the community, revealing pluralistic attitudes as a response to facing these challenges/problems.
